Borris Viaduct
Borris Viaduct Walk started life as a railway viaduct built in 1860 as part of the trainline from Bagenalstown to Wexford. The viaduct spans 16 arches across the river 50m below. [11 kms]
Woodstock Gardens Forest Walk
Explore the 3.5 km loop trail through to the beautiful Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum, loverlooking the River Nore Vallen and the ictureseque village of Inistioge. Their walled garden, abundant with flowers and vegetables, Yew Walk, Rose Garden, Monkey Puzzle Avenue and Noble Fir Avenue are all great places to explore [27 kms]
Jenkinstown Woods
There are two marked walks through the forest – the Walked Garden Loop (2.5 km) and the Jekninstown Wood Loop (4 km). Both walks start and finish at the car park and are suite for you and old alike! [30 kms]
Brandon Hill, Near Graiguenamanagh
This 12km trail follows minor roadways, forestry tracks and hillside patches to reach the ultimate peak. Once you arrive, you won’t regret the decision to tackle the challenging and scenic trail, especially its spectacular pink and peach sunsets of Summer! [16t kms]
Tory Hill, South Kilkenny
Tory Hill is a 4km light trafficked loop trail located near the small village of Mullinavat. It features beautiful wild flowers that nature lovers will adore and is perfect for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking and nature trips and ideal for day-trips with a picnic! [55 kms]
